Good Chevy Vehicle God let me enjoy!!!!!!

God take control of the wheel

My story at the beginning of January 28,2022. I drove to St. louis from New York with my 2 1/2 year old son. The trip was 16 hours but it was great. I just got transfer from New York Bronz VA to work at the Jefferson barracks VA in St. Louis. My new hire orentation start on January 31, 2022. Even though the weather was cold and weird. I've been driving down west 270 to 255 east every day for my job. On February 2, 2022 the snowstorm started up. I drove without no problems and got to work fine. By February 3, 2022 the snow and ice was badly coming down. Thinking the drive will be smooth, but yet cautious traveling. I haven't been here less than week. When on February 3, 2022 the second day of the St. Louis snowstorm. Before I drove I ask God to take control of the wheel. I drove from Florissant, Mo to Jefferson barracks hospital. For the MDOT of St. Louis county didn't salt or plow the highway. So it was like driving on an ice skating rink. Since this was my fourth day of training. I was getting off on kosch Rd. to go to work at Jefferson Barracks Va. When my 2020 Chevy Trax AWD hit a patch of ice at 20 mph. I slid sideways into the exit sign on east 255 and exit 2 koch rd. Instantly as hit the sign My side airbags on driver and passenger deployed. My driver seat and the rear sear behind the driver deployed. I was slightly shooking and angry when everything happen. My Onstar instantly chime asking if i was ok. I told them i'm alright. For the sit belt didn't want to unlatch do to the impact. Only window that busted was the driver side. Chevy has built very good and safe vehicle. For none of the glass fell on me. Due to the side airbag deflecting it downward to the floor. I climb out over the passenger seat to exit the vehicle. For it was freezing outside and when i step out i almost slip on the ice. One of the St. louis county officers pulled up just check to see if im alright. While also I'm watching some my employees drive on by to work. Not even thirty minutes the tow truck MDOT showed up. to make sure every thing was okay. Having full coverage on your vehicle pays off. It took less than 30 minutes for the tow truck. It was from miner towing which gave me lift to their shop. My insurance company USSA made sure that i had a rental for the next day of traveling. I had to miss a day of work. Which was fine, but I'm glad I thank God I wasn't seriously injure. For the journey on trenchous highway that day. I only made it because God was in control of the wheel. I thank God that my son wasn't traveling with me that day. Sometimes in our life when things happen, rather good/or bad he always make a way. Thats why its best to stay prayed up. Even though my vehicle could of been fix. My insurance company total it. For the damage was to much of a cost. I can say that truck got plenty of memories for only been a year 3 months old. I done drove her from new york to new orleans, from new york to memphis, and new york to st. louis. Brought her back without problems. Just this last trip from new york to st. louis ended her run with me. How so sad my good truck gone.
