Stolen Destiny



Episode 1

Anthony, once a respected bank manager, found himself pushing a lowly wheel barrow, a humiliating rank compared to his former life of Wealthinness and importance, all due to baseless accusations of theft from his company .

Coming to work one fateful Monday only to find a termination letter (sack letter) on his desk.

His account frozen , his house and cars taken from him by his company.

Anthony was hurt, depressed and heartbroken on the sudden situation he found himself in.

He was left with no choice but to seek help from a job that was below his previous status - wheel barrow pushing.

The weight of his misfortune was increased by his wife's endless complaints, cursing Anthony for his inability to provide her with the lavish lifestyle she wanted . As if this weren't enough, the dagger of betrayal entered even deeper when he sought help at his brother's house , only to be met with a sight that shattered his soul - his own wife lying on his brother's bed in a forbidden embrace with his flesh and blood.

The pain of witnessing his wife in such a shameful act with his younger brother was almost too much to bear. Rather than being greeted with mercy or repentance , Daniel, his own brother, heartlessly ordered him out, as he shamelessly continued sleeping with Mirabel-Anthony's wife.

The sense of betrayal that entered through Anthony's veins was a torment beyond measure as he left, heart heavy with the forthcoming return of his unfaithful wife.

Days turned to weeks, with no sign of his wife returning, leaving their two sons under Anthony's care. It became obvious that she had abandoned him in pursuit of a more luxurious lifestyle. Mercilessly disregarding her children in the process. Even as Anthony toiled tirelessly pushing his barrow, trying to make ends meet and care for his sons, the burden of humiliation and betrayal weighed heavily upon him.

Few weeks later, Anthony's two sons were chased out of school because of his inability to pay their school fees. His landlord on the other hand, has issued him a quit notice.

Anthony's life was in shambles, and no help was forthcoming.

In a final act of pain, Anthony swallowed his pride and returned to his brother, hoping for a glimmer of hope in his hour of need. However, the response he received was nothing short of wickedness. "lazy man. Do I look like your bank you stole from?", Daniel said to him without a little bit of sympathy.

To worsen the situation, Daniel called out to Mirabel who came out from the room and hissed seeing her husband. "Have you spent the N2million I sent you, dear", Daniel said hugging Mirabel in the presence of the heartbroken Anthony.

Patting Daniel's hair, Mirabel replied " it has finished, babe".

Without wasting time, Daniel transferred another money to her account while his brother has been there, begging for help.

As Anthony tiredly went back to his humble abode, the walls closed in around him, suffocating him with the weight of his shattered dreams and broken trust. The agony he carried was not just the physical toil of pushing a barrow but the emotional burden of betrayal and abandonment by those he held dear. In the dark shadow of an uncertain future, Anthony stood alone, a testament to the cruel suffering of life that fate had dealt him.

His sudden poverty wasn't ordinary, as his brother, whose sudden wealth was still a shock to people used his destiny to make money.

Daniel, a final year student at one of the famous University in the country was influenced by his friend to join a cult which will see him, having excess money immediately he completes his education. He was ready to do all it takes to be rich, without minding if someone would go down for it. Rendering his brother poor, was one of the sacrifices he had to make to get rich, power and authority.
