My confession

My hero

Mom. I never told you this before, but you have always been my hero. I mean you're a real live hero. Yeah, you may not have those superficial powers but you do have those powers that save lives. I am one of the lives you have saved. You have saved me from so many battles I've lost count. The stories I can tell, I will never have enough time to tell them all without taking a lifetime to.

I do have one story where you were so heroic the entire time. And you didn't look for a praise, metal or some big recognition. You were happy that my life had been saved. Being able to see me smile again and be there for my girls. That was all you care about. Easter Sunday was the day superwoman step in Hey and saved my life. I ran the shower and got Mayala and I ready for bed. When I realize I was going into a seizure. I screamed for help and all I could remember was you coming to see what was wrong with me. I do not know what would of happen if you were not around at that time. Who knows I probably wouldn’t be here to tell this confession to now. I could not believe my ears when you said that had to bring me back to life. I had turn purple. The thought of not being here for my children. I can’t begin to phantom the thoughts that were going through your head when my body was laying their breathless and the girls screaming and crying in your ear.

Another story of you being the superwoman that you are is when you heard a thump on the floor. You came to see what all the commotion was. You found out that I had fell out and was unresponsive to you calling my name. My sister still laughs till this day. She said “girl mama slapped you back to life that night.” Yet again Melodee my mother saves the day. Not one time did you show fear. You knew what to do in both moments. All I know is I am still here fighting another day. All because my hero made sure I could.

Mama that was pure bravery you showed by breathing breath back into my life when I had a seizure and my heart stop. Only a hero can do something like that and not panic. You showed me what faith and courage was that day. Heros don’t look for recognition and praise. I knew once you saw that I was woke and breathing you were happy with that outcome. I am so grateful to have a hero as a mother. That day was so scary and unbelievable to me. Til this day I still think about that day. Yeah, you may not have the Xray vision and the cool suit. But the characteristics of a hero you have them all. It's so many words to describe a hero the list can go on. But I do have a few words that stuck with me when looking for a hero. My hero consists of being brave a warrior, having compassion for others. Morals and integrity. Unconditional love. Knowing the difference between right and wrong. A firm believer in their beliefs and fights for the underdogs. Omg let's not forget my hero got to kick some booty. Lol. Yeah, mama I got to confess Melodee you’re my type of hero. Superman, wonder woman, batman don’t have nothing on you. Thank you again for saving my life on more than one occasion my hero.

Sincerely your biggest fan

Roshan.
