I met her one Friday night at Cosmo. That’s when I saw her.
She was light-skinned, very beautiful, with a body that stood out a proper bottle shape. She was from HB. She caught my eye straight away. She was smiling, moving with confidence, like she already knew she was the best looking in the place.
I don’t even remember how it started, but suddenly we were dancing. At first just one song, then another, then the whole night. She was easy to talk to, laughing, enjoying the moment. The more we danced, the more I felt the connection building. I could smell her perfume mixed in with the smoke and beer smell of the club.
Not long we were dancing very close. I ran my hand slowly over her back. She seemed to like it.
Then she leaned close, almost touching my ear, and whispered through the music: “Let’s go to your place after this.”
I paused for a second, not because I didn’t want to, but because I wasn’t expecting her to say that. I asked her, “You here with someone?”
She smiled and shook her head. “I came with my friends. I’ll let them know.”
So after the party, we left together. I drove her to my place. While driving, I could feel the love tension building between us. We both wanted a piece if each other. When we got there, it didn’t take long. She was even more beautiful up close. I pulled her in and we kissed. I thought I could not waste the opportunity. One thing led to another and before I knew it, I was pumping her with her long legs swaying in the air. We made love. It was a one night stand.
The next morning, she woke up before me. She stretched, sat on the bed quietly fixing her hair, then looked at me and said, “Can you drop me off at VC?” She said it calmly, like it was just a normal request.
I said, “Okay.”
On the way, we didn’t talk much. Just a few casual things about where she was from and work. Before she got out, she gave me her number. I saved it, but I didn’t think too much about it. In my mind, it was done.
Life went on. I didn’t call her, and she didn’t call me. A whole month passed. Then one Saturday morning, I went to Gordons Market to buy some food.
And then I saw her.
She wasn’t alone. She was walking with her husband and two kids. I froze.
Our eyes met. For a few seconds, we just stared at each other. She didn’t look guilty, didn’t look scared. Her face was calm, like nothing happened between us. She kept walking, straight past me, holding her child’s hand, her husband leading the way.
I just stood there, watching them disappear into the crowd. My mind went back to that night at Cosmo the dancing, the whisper in my ear, the ride home, everything. But now I knew the truth. She had a family. She was married.
I didn’t know that night. If I had known, maybe things would have been different. But standing there at Gordons Market, I realized it was a part of her life I was never supposed to know. For her, it was nothing. For me, it became a memory I could never forget.
But that night she texted me. On her text was. Can we do it again? I don't know what to think. So I texted back saying you have a family. Why are you doing this? She said it is just for fun. That night was great. So I told her meet me on Friday.
STAY TUNED FOR PART 2.
