in the back street

There's a little umbrella shop in the back street.

There was a big sign: "Umbrella Repair."

After a long time of rain, it finally stopped today. All the broken umbrellas in the town are concentrated here.

Customers say, "Please fix it, because it's going to rain sometime."

So the umbrella shop owner, buried in a mountain of umbrellas, has been working hard since morning.

The umbrella shop owner, although still a young man, but has excellent skills, by the evening, so many umbrellas all repaired, returned to the umbrella owner. So he was left with three times as much money as usual as he did not have.

He thought with great joy: "Repair the roof at once. And hang new curtains for the Windows."

He had long wanted to hang a snow-white curtain on the second-story window where he lived alone.

"Also, a box of oil paints and a new guitar, and..."

Ah, there are many, many more things to want.

The next day, the umbrella shop owner went into town to buy curtains, oil paints and a new guitar.

It was drizzling.

It's quite a walk to town. However, the umbrella shop owner's heart, was stuffed with joy almost broken.

"Ask for a roof repair, then go to the department store..."

The umbrella shop owner had already made up his mind. So he walked "smudging smudging" without looking at him.

At the last corner, before reaching the town, there was a low fence. Arriving here, the umbrella shop owner saw a little girl standing alone against the fence.

Walking past, the umbrella shop owner stopped.

The girl, dressed in light blue and without an umbrella, stared into the distance. The umbrella shop owner tucked the girl into his big black umbrella.

"What are you doing?" "Asked the umbrella shop owner.

The girl looked up at the umbrella shop owner. She has fair skin and big eyes.

"No umbrella?"

The girl nodded. Short hair shakes loosely.

"Do you have no umbrella?" "Asked the umbrella shop owner again.

The girl nodded again.

"Well, that's no good."

The umbrella shop owner, when it comes to umbrellas, is more enthusiastic than anyone else.

"Even a child must have his own umbrella."

At this time, the umbrella shop owner remembered again, today, his wallet is very heavy. He said happily, "Now, little girl, I'll make you a new umbrella."

The girl smiled happily and said, "Thank you."

"I'm going into town now. Let's go and choose the cloth for your umbrella."

So the tall young man and the little, little girl went to the town under the big cloth umbrella.

It's still raining.

The umbrella shop owner and the girl changed escalators several times in the department store before they came to the place where they sold cloth.

On the counter, loads of cloth lay in waves.

The girl chose blue cloth there.

The girl pointed to that piece of cloth, the price is very high, there are three times the white curtain! But the umbrella shop owner was happy to buy it. He thought it would make a good umbrella.

Then the umbrella owner and the girl went up to the roof and drank ice cream soda at the white table under the big dry umbrella.

"When the umbrella is finished, I will give it to you. Where is your home?" "Asked the umbrella shop owner.

"That will do."

"Over there?"

"Just around the corner."

"Well, I'll be there in the morning."

The two made an appointment.

The umbrella shop owner and the girl parted at the corner fence.

The umbrella shop owner left more quickly than he had come.

He thought, "Go home quickly and make a fine umbrella."

He forgot all about fixing the roof and buying white curtains, oil paints, and guitars.
