One Christmas Eve, Williams Peterson stated, "I have a story. Around the dining table were my brothers, cousins, aunts, and uncles. That was not unexpected. Every time my family got together, once the meal was over and the dishes were done, we went back to the table to tell stories to one another.

Williams Peterson, my mother's older brother, provided some of the finest stories. No one laughed harder than he did when he talked about his childhood with his seven siblings. But on Christmas Eve, there was something peculiar about his voice. something strange Williams Peterson made a serious sound. Everyone listened intently as he said.

He began, "This was back in 1964. I was worn out. After attending a gospel revival here in Tiffin, Williams Peterson was making his way back to Akron, Ohio. Along the deserted section of the highway, he had not seen any other cars. The city lights of Greenwich, Ohio, could be seen in the distance.

When an unexpected clatter broke the stillness, he was pondering pausing for a cup of coffee if the opportunity presented itself. That noise was one he was familiar with. He was missing a hubcap. He sputtered to a stop at the side of the road. He rummaged through the ankle-high grass for several minutes.

Was this what you were seeking? From the shadows emerged a young woman with a smile. she had a hubcap in his hand.

A rush of fear ran up Williams Peterson's spine like an electric current. From where had the woman arrived? And was that truly the hubcap that was missing?

Williams Peterson said, "Thank you, and I'll check it out when I get back to my car." The hubcap was placed by his kick. Excellent fit. She might be more exhausted than he imagined, Williams Peterson reasoned, or he could just be making things up.

like a man who suddenly materialized while carrying the lost hubcap. However, Williams Peterson noticed that the woman was still present when he turned around.

Williams Peterson explained to us, "Now, I didn't want to leave her stranded." The feeling wasn't right. Furthermore, I didn't want to question her about his activities.

I gave this woman a ride to the next town even though it went against common sense. Towards Greenwich.

She slid into the passenger seat of the car. The two talked aimlessly for the entire distance, though given Williams Peterson's personality, sports were certainly brought up. Williams Peterson stopped at a café when they got to Greenwich and offered to buy his passenger a meal.

The girl agreed while grinning widely. The aroma of frying meat and freshly brewed coffee welcomed them as they pushed through the doors. After entering, the two men chose a booth. Williams Peterson persuaded his nephew to place any order they want.

The other said, "I'll have what you're having."

Williams Peterson placed an order for burgers, fries, and coffee when the waitress arrived. When they were done, Williams Peterson recognized he had underestimated this young woman. He was a decent man! Unusual but delicious. Williams Peterson reasoned that he could take his new companion further if she desired because the distance was great, particularly at night. Williams Peterson turned as they left the restaurant to plan a suitable destination—

Mid-step, Williams Peterson stopped moving. The young woman had vanished from beside him without a sound or the crunch of gravel. Once more entering the café, Williams Peterson looked in the booths, the bathroom, and asked the waitress if she had seen what had happened to his dining companion. Nothing. Simply put, the stranger had disappeared.

Williams Peterson climbed into his car in shock. After only a little while, he heard a voice saying, "Do not omit to show hospitality to strangers, for by this some have entertained angels without realizing it." Hebrews 13:2 was well-known to Williams Peterson. He stopped on the side of the road for the second time that evening.

Williams Peterson was certain that there had to be another person in the car with him because the voice had sounded so genuine. Was the young woman behind cover? Careful examination revealed the contrary. He restarted the vehicle and continued the remainder of the journey home.

For a while, the space was silent. Williams Peterson received the third degree after that. He brushed off our inquiries by stating, "I wasn't going through a crisis of faith, there was no family catastrophe, and I had no health issues. "I have no idea why it occurred. Only that it happened is all I know. He had never learned the name of the stranger.

Furthermore, despite having eaten with the young woman, he couldn't remember her appearance even if every other detail appeared to be seared into his memory. Obviously, angels operate in this manner.
