The villain motioned to the servant to ask where he had hidden it. The boy raised his left arm and the gold fell to the floor under his arm. The servant took out a knife and scratched his skin hard so that no gold would stick to it.

"And the bridge?" 'she asked. The boy raised his right arm again, and the bridge fell. The servant quickly took away the bridge and put up the beams again. The big bad man looked on and was pleased. He laughed to himself and said, "He did not escape. Boil a pot of water and prepare to burn him. I'm going to invite my selkie friend to dinner."motioned

The servant caught hold of the boy with his fingers and tried to take him into the kitchen. Then the boy said, "I am too thin and small to cook. If you feed me for two days and give me lots of food, I will become big and fat. Or your selkie friends will think you are laughing at them when they see you offering me to them."

"Well, that's right." "Then I'll keep you for two days." Then he went to visit the selkies.

The maid took him to a little room and chained him to a hoop in the wall. She brought him something to eat every hour. Two days later, he was as big and fat as a Christmas Turkey, and he could hardly turn his head from side to side.

"That's about it now." "Said the villain, who often came to see how the boy was growing." I will tell the selkie to come to dinner tonight. Put the pot on the fire, but don't taste the soup."

The maid did as he told her at once. She lit a fire and filled a pot with water. Hang the pot from the ceiling by a string. After all this, she brought the Orb Boy. The boy saw that everything was ready, and prayed that the water would fizz and bubble while he was in it, but not actually boil. He also asked the gods to turn the water into broth.

After a while, the water hissed and bubbled. The maid grabbed the Orb boy and threw him in. After a while the water was greasy and the boy was rolling in the soup, but he could talk.
