Vibrant yet gentle

Loud yet calm

The river remains unaware of my feelings

Waves journey towards the ocean

Oh, the waves of yesterday

And the next day, nothing changed

A longing for love

Healing within a child's heart

Before countless waves

I think of you, my dear

I ponder the vast ocean

Where do the waves originate?

Waves arise from the wind

But where does the wind begin?

I am unsure as well

When did we fall in love?

Waves beneath the surface

Waves upon the water

Oh, how the waves yearn for the shore

Restless day and night

My heart longs for you

Even in dreams and while awake

Whether heading north

Or returning south

In every thought

I turn towards you - a single path

Out in the ocean

Countless waves exist

Yet none touch the shore

Despite all the barriers

Life stretches on

Years continue to flow

Like the vast ocean, wide and deep

Clouds drift far away

How to merge?

Into countless tiny waves

In the midst of a great sea of love

Let it continue to ripple for ages.
