“Open your eyes, Ananke. Do you understand what you witnessed, Love? I tried to only give you a small part of the event because I did not want to overwhelm you or put you under the emotional toll of truly reliving our destruction.”

Freya asked as I opened my eyes and looked at her, puzzled by what I witnessed.

“I'm sorry... I wish I did understand but I don't fully. It looked like 'The OB's...' or Tarzemeths as you call them, came and attacked the island of Atlantis until you all disappeared?”

I asked as I tried to put a story together for what I had witnessed in the vision Freya shared with me.

“Perhaps I held back too much... I just know our ways can be paralyzing for other forms not accustomed to our methods of communicating.”

Freya explained as I stared blankly and still confused.

“Look... I need to get back to my parents... I just came to find out what you wanted and I need to do that quickly, so can you please just explain everything to me quickly so I can get back to them??”

I asked impatiently while feeling irritation overtake me.

“Oh Love, please don't get frustrated, be very careful with your emotions here, keep them controlled. We are a very sensitive race of people and you are... how to put this... a descendant of our race, Ananke. On your mother's side, her bloodline traces back to ours. That is how you were able to receive our message and find us so quickly. It is also why you are struggling currently with what you are feeling... You see, you absorb everything around you... emotionally. As do we.”

Freya responded as I looked at her with a puzzled look in my eyes.

“What... what do you mean??”

I asked back even more submerged by confusion than before.

“Oh by the Goddess this is so draining!”

Freya exclaimed as she brought both of her hands to her temples rubbing them as though she had a headache.

“I... I'm sorry? I just... You haven't told me shit! You've told me some things that I'm not grasping, they don't make sense... You've shown me some vision of your life and I'm sorry for all of that but I still do not know why the fuck I am here or why you were calling me the key or... Hell WHERE ARE WE?? How about we start with that question??”

I shouted as I felt overcome by a range of emotions while feeling my own migraine beginning to form.

“Please, please Ananke, Love... Please try to control your emotions... We all feel it and the strength of your emotions can call ones here that we don't want to find us. Just take a deep breath my Dear... to answer your question about where this is... This is as I said before, what you know as Atlantis.. or rather, what is left of it. The Tarzemeths came to earth thousands of years ago when our civilization was thriving. Our land is actually called Athassus, and we are the Athassuseans. This branch of our civilization began many, many moons ago here on earth. We were born of the Universe and brought here after the destruction of our home.

We believed the Universe guided us here to earth in order to bring our light and teachings to the young, new race forming on this planet. We however, are not the only ones with eyes on the lifeforms coming into birth on this planet. The Tarzemeths followed us here after they destroyed our home, and they saw our early interactions with humankind. Oh how we had hopes for your race, Love. Humans were amazing even in the earliest days of existence. Your race was so similar to ours already and we knew that the Universe put us on earth to ensure your future would be one of harmony and peace – just like ours once was.”

Freya began to explain slowly to me as I struggled to understand everything she was saying as she continued to speak.

“The Tarzemeths attempted to destroy us the same way they did with your society. They appeared in the skies over our origin planet, and just as they did on earth, they showed us proof of their meddling as being the reason for everything we believed in. Our Gods, Goddesses, the Universe, Fate... all of it was lies they claimed. Their story was very believable and so was the 'proof' they provided to us. The one thing they did not count on though, was the emotional and spiritual development of our race. None of the proof they showed mattered. None of the words they said mattered.

Our people never relied on physical proof of our Gods and Goddesses to know they existed. We never required validation for the guidance of the Universe or Fate... none of it was ever based upon physical proof. We just knew. We believed and we did not care what the Tarzemeths told us or the claims they made. None of it changed our society. Because of this, the Tarzemeths became very angry and when they reappeared a few years after their first visit, they attacked our planet. The Universe allowed for several thousand of us to escape and we ended up on earth – here to be exact.

We re-established our civilization and looked forward to introducing our ways to the human race that was barely forming at that time. We knew that we had to be subtle and gentle in introducing ourselves and our ways to humankind and we spent roughly 2000 years slowly interacting and introducing ourselves to the human race. That is also how our bloodlines crossed, because it was not uncommon for our people to engage sexually with humans as we attempted to relate and learn more about your early ancestors.”

Freya continued as I listened intently to her story, while repeating in my mind how unbelievable all of this was.

“As unbelievable as it may seem, Ananke, it is true. Our race and the early human race interacted together more and more frequently. Relationships and families were started, and your earliest ancestors were learning our ways of peace and harmony. While our civilization was much more advanced, we tried not to encroach too much on the evolution of human civilization. We taught small aspects of building but in a more... what is the term you society used often... old school? Yes, that is it... We taught your ancestors the old school ways of building and surviving. They were amazed the first time any of them would come across Athassus and they used it for a lot of their inspiration with their early buildings.

The Tarzemeths saw the survival and existence of those of us who escaped here to earth as being a threat to their plans to do here what they did to our home planet. One night we were attacked by a Tarzemeth spaceship that appeared above our sky. I was just a child, that is the vision you saw from my memory. The Tarzemeths assumed that they had destroyed us when Athassus was no longer visible on the land. What they did not know is that we relied upon our bond with the Universe and our deities to protect us and they did. They placed us in... this otherworldly realm. We exist on earth but in a temporal, out of phase manner to keep ourselves hidden from the Tarzemeths.

After several thousand years of living this shadow existence, some of our people began to allow themselves to be affected by the darkness and found themselves overcome by hopelessness. It isn't completely their fault though, they are part human and they have been drawn by their ties to that part of themselves which pulls them into the darkness. You see, we are sensitives or psychic as you may call it. Our ties to the Universe and our deities enable us to experience a full empathic connection to each other and those in the world around us.

The part humans among us here have been triggered by their ties to the human side of themselves and they have felt the increasing tensions and emotions on earth for several years. This caused some of our people to react violently towards others and our once harmonious secret existence became threatened. We all feel the negative energy surrounding earth right now and it is making it extremely difficult for us to control our abilities and keep our connection to the Universe and our deities. This is why we have searched for you for so long, Ananke... you are the key.”

Freya finished by repeating that phrase again – I was the key, but I didn't know to what.

“The key to what? I just don't understand.”

I responded to her while struggling to process everything she had just told me.

“You are the key to destroying the Tarzemeths once and for all. Saving both your race and what is left of mine. I feel your exhaustion and the burden you are holding on your shoulders right now over the information I have shared with you, Love. You need to rest, you are overcome by everything currently and it will only get more difficult if you do not maintain rest. We'll explain more after you've slept. Follow me and I'll take you to a room.”

Freya answered while she stood up and began to walk down a hallway as I followed her.

She led me to a beautiful room that filled me with complete Zen upon entering it. That was when the exhaustion truly hit me as I thanked her and then laid down upon the large and very cozy bed. It did not take long for sleep to overcome me despite the attempts of my mind to continue racing over everything happening. It was not a restful sleep however. I continued to have visions while I slept of the Tarzemeths. I could not understand how I was even having some of the visions or dreams that I was experiencing, because they appeared to be about their history and how their species travels world to world leaving destruction and chaos on each civilization they reach.

I saw them watching us on earth, laughing and celebrating as our society tore itself apart. I saw them doing the same thing to other planets and then eventually returning to those planets and completely destroying it after harvesting several thousand inhabitants from each one. I watched them take the thousands of inhabitants to the Tarzemeth home planet, where they had the various species from each planet they destroyed engage in fights to the death, and survival games pitting each group of survivors against another.

They continued to watch and see which planet's inhabitants would be the ultimate survivors while continually adding in additional roadblocks and difficulties for the survivors. I must have witnessed the destruction of 1,000 planets, 1,000 different races and cultures completely decimated by the Tarzemeths. I felt the loss and pain of every single race, every culture, every being. I felt the lack of any compassion or empathy in the Tarzemths, their desire to watch chaos and destruction being unleashed on unsuspecting beings. I woke up with emptiness, completely emptiness inside of me as I began to cry from what I was feeling.
