Unraveling Worlds

It's still a struggle for me when I think about how significantly everything changed and the reasons it all happened. For the longest time I spent every day imagining the 'good ol' days' where things were “normal” and life was... “good”. I never realized how conditioned I was, how conditioned everyone was, to the so-called “normal” days of life. When 'The OB's' came, it was a nightmare for the world. The delicate balance of life was shattered and the beliefs of many were completely destroyed. I remember that day like it was yesterday, and for a long time I saw it as the beginning of the end. I now realize it was only the end of what we ‘knew’ and the beginning of truth. The things I remember the most from the 'before' days seem so deprived of reason as I think back on them, but back then, it was what... was.

I suppose I should start at the beginning when things were “normal” - or at least, our conditioned view of “normal”. I was a typical 16 year old living in what was the United States of America, land of the “free”. I questioned a lot of things in school because it didn't make sense to me. This often resulted in me getting in trouble and sent to the Principal's office for being... what was the word they used all the time... insubordinate. I lost track of all the calls my parents received from the school counselors that started with the phrase “Your daughter, Ananke, started arguing with...”. I suppose in a way I was, at least in the eyes of those who believed what they were taught and never questioned the whole concept of 'this is how it's always been'. I desired to understand the reasons behind that mindset, the 'why' factor.

WHY is it 'this how it's always been'?

WHY is there so much resistance when that “fact” is questioned?

I never saw myself as challenging authority or being difficult, I just wanted to understand the 'why' instead of blindly accepting things as “truth” or “fact”.

That was a factor with a lot of my generation apparently though. We all saw the world in this spectrum of multi-color instead of just black and white. A lot of the elders left in the world after the 'Event' blamed us for 'The OB's' coming, which caused even further deterioration of what was left of society in the 'after' days. It was about 10 years ago when things first started to become... what I would call “visibly” strained within the world and times became very difficult. It felt almost like the world was moving backwards as any progress towards moving forward became blindly blocked and forced out in the name of religion and “rights”.

The various “generations” were fighting over what they knew, what they were taught, what was “right” and what was “wrong” or “immoral”. For the most part before that time, society generally just accepted what was, there would be the occasional uprising against something or riot but it would go away quickly and quietly. Then about 6 years ago things got even worse. A worldwide pandemic hit and that was the beginning of the true push for things to change and the refusal of many to be silent and accept 'this is how it is' for an answer.

The struggle between facts, science, biology, religion, and clarity began to increase as the older generations resisted the desire of the younger generations for a more fluid, flexible, accepting society. This created a continual narrative of negativity that increased even further to violence after nearly 2 years of the pandemic lock downs finally passed. The Government in the United States and several other nations had become corrupt to their cores, the political parties true language became that of the all mighty dollar and the requests of their very rich religious backers. It all went straight to hell about 3 years after the pandemic lockdowns had been lifted when laws were changed, liberties taken, and equality became a memory of the past.

Persons of color had lost any required “equal” chances at higher education that they previously had (as minimal as it was). Women lost their rights to make choices for their own bodies and found their rights being targeted because of what the so-called “Word of God” said. It was also open season for discrimination as long as the discriminating party could prove that their actions of hate were done out of their religious “obligations and belief system.” This basically meant anyone that didn't identify as a straight “Christian” male or straight “Christian” female was a target. It was the final presidential election in what was formally the United States that truly put on full display how corrupt and immoral the Government had become.

The Supreme Court in some twisted politically and monetary motivated ploy had upheld the rigged election results citing “no overwhelming evidence of interference.” This was shocking considering there was evidence clearly showing the cheating, but money controlled all. Other states were forced to throw out the votes that were found to be “illegal” on top of the cheating. And this handed a victory to another corrupt party that began a regime of control similar to what was seen back in history with Hitler in Germany.

When the so-called “elected” President was set to take office, riots broke out all over the U.S. The “cult” of the now controlling government party began to unleash on non-white persons all over the country in violent displays. Even other countries across the world were experiencing an uprising over the U.S. Election as outrage, anger and fear spread across the globe. Citizens started turning against their own political parties as they feared what happened in the U.S. would happen in their countries as well since the corruption was bursting through all areas of the Government in the world as a whole. The world remained in disarray and shambles that entire first year of the fascist reign, until New Year’s day arrived - and with it the 'OB's'.

It was the apparent complete breakdown of society that tempted 'The OB's' to return to Earth when they did. I was a struggling 26 year old, omnisexual, belief-challenged woman who still lived at home with her parents because it was impossible to afford shit in this divisive world. I was lucky in one aspect though unlike a lot of others in similar shoes – my parents were completely awesome and supportive of me. They always told me that they were a part of the last generation that learned to adapt and grow to the ever changing reality of life.

My mom was a practicing witch or Wiccan, except to those outside the home who saw her as a “good Catholic woman.” She portrayed this persona to, as she put it, “avoid the torches and burning at the stake.” My dad was more on the agnostic side of things when it came to beliefs, but he too put on a front around others. When the 'OB's' came it changed everything that “was” in terms of religion and beliefs. Maybe that's why it was a little easier for me to accept the “truth” that they came to deliver? I was already unsure on if or what I believed in to begin with, I literally had really nothing to lose by the truth... well, except for life as I knew it.

It was New Year's Day in the U.S. when they came. Everything was already in chaos from the continued political bullshit that was taking place all over the world. Most people referred to 'The OB's' as aliens, but I've grown up with so many negative connotations with that word, I hated using it in any sense, so I grew to call them the “other beings” or the 'OB's' for short. I suppose it wasn't exactly the most correct term for them but I liked using it better than “aliens”.

It was a shock all over the world when the OB's spaceship started to appear in the skies above each country in the world. The Governments of each nation were in emergency meetings over video calls immediately upon the first ship appearing. They were scrambling to try to keep people calm while having absolutely no clue what they were dealing with – or so they claimed. It wasn't until much later that the truth regarding what they actually knew came out.

As the spaceships appeared all over the world, panic began to spread quickly... and with panic came the looting, crime and violence. The heads of the Government for each country were quickly hidden away in bunkers that had already been setup for who knows how long. They said they were in their offices but several groups of rioters broke into various capital buildings and quickly shared videos of them being completely empty. After all of the ships were positioned all over the world over major cities, capital regions and highly populated areas... the next steps began. Every television, every computer, laptop, cell phone, tablet, advertisement screen – basically everything that was connected to any network or electrical grid was essentially hijacked by the OB's.

Their message began to spread across everything in each land's language or in some way that everyone could read or hear it. It was like it knew what each person required for understanding and comprehension.

“Citizens of Earth – We are your truth. We are the so-called “God” or “Gods” that you have worshiped. For thousands of years it has been us – only us. You have allowed yourselves to become blindly influenced by what you could not see, feel or hear and in doing so, you have allowed yourselves to destroy one another from the beginning of your existence. You have merely been entertainment and experiments for us, like the 'reality entertainment' shows that your species loves so much. That is all you have been to us. Entertainment. Your 'holy' books have been instruments of our making that we engineered and staged for your species to find.

Every aspect of your so-called “religions” have been nothing but a figment of our creation placed to add further strife to your existence. We have enjoyed watching you spread the seeds of hatred and false claims of serving your “Gods” as you waged wars and destroyed one another for thousands of years. We have watched your artificial religious leaders demand loyalty, servitude, and tithing as proof of your belief in these “Gods” they served. We watched them get wealthy and gain power that they abused – every single one of them.

Your political leaders were no better, they used the words of your holy books to gain your favor, votes and monetary contributions. They gained wealth and power that they too abused as they lied and cheated their way to control. They let their people suffer in poverty and struggle to survive while they sat in their mansions and palaces full of riches that they continued to use their power to gain more of. There has never been an honest one among any of them. We present the following proof that has been sent to every device and dropped in every capital region, proving that your entire existence, all you have believed is false. All planted by us. Now we will enjoy further entertainment as we watch your pitiful existence on this planet crumble as your beliefs, your truths, your values are all gone. Will your leaders remain in power? Will you continue to allow them to twist your choices and gain your allegiance? Or will you create a new system to try to regain some type of control in the chaos?

Also – we will be enslaving your population. We have biologically implanted a neuro-device into each of your brains at some point through each of your lives. This device will cause significant neurological damage and pain if you try to resist it or remove it. This device will be used to control your species when we return to gut your planet and annihilate your very existence. Don't worry though – that won't be for a number of years possibly. It depends how entertained we stay while watching your species scramble and try to re-establish order amidst the chaos. We look forward to seeing all the new ways you can come up with to continue to destroy one another with this new truth gained by you all and the reality of knowing everything you once had faith in – is nothing but a lie.”
