If you feel questioned for sharing your work online, read this

By Hridya SharmaPublished about a year ago 1 min read

Why do you share your work and journey with your social network? Nobody cares about what you do in your life.

⏩This! How often do we come across this statement? The argument for instant gratification that we gain while sharing glimpses or content about our journeys being detrimental for us, in the long run, is completely valid. The validation that we crave from external realms often stems from a lower sense of self-esteem.

⏩We need to show the world that we are happy and thriving in our lives is forging the bare existence of the digital domain. Social media is a boon or bane that depends solely on the discretion of its user.

⏩Any power vested in the hands of an individual involves both authority and responsibility. The power of social media gives us the authority to share, express, inspire, and build connections and networks but also holds us responsible for making it a safe space for ourselves and the people we engage with.

🏆When used coherently, social networks can be a source of inspiration and learning for the community as a whole.

Whenever someone questions me why I share my journey on social media, my answer always is, " Even if there is a single individual out there who is inspired by my posts to follow their dreams and celebrate their uniqueness, then it is worth sharing my journey with the world.🤝
