The Train to Nowhere
Not every journey has a destination.
By GoldenSpeechPublished 3 months ago • 1 min read

When Clara boarded the midnight train, she was half asleep, thinking it was the last route back to the city. But as the hours passed, she noticed the train never stopped. The windows showed no landmarks—only endless fog.
Passengers sat silently, staring forward. When Clara asked where they were going, an elderly man whispered, “We all missed our stops long ago.”
The climax: Clara realized the passengers were souls caught between life and death, their destination unknown. She found a note in her pocket—her own handwriting—telling her to pull the emergency brake. When she did, the train screeched to a halt, and she woke up at sunrise, standing alone beside an empty railway line.
