The Sea That Tidied Its Shores
Waves That Cleaned More Than Sand
By GoldenSpeechPublished 2 months ago • 1 min read

The sea in a quiet bay washed the shore with unusual gentleness. After every storm, it returned lost objects: a button, a child’s toy, an ancestral ring.
But it also washed emotional burdens away.
People stood ankle-deep in the surf and whispered their sorrows. Hours later, tiny shells arranged themselves into shapes that resembled healing words.
One day, the sea stopped returning objects. Instead, it brought one enormous treasure chest, tightly locked.
When villagers opened it, they found it empty—except for a note written in water:
“Some things must be released, not retrieved.”
