A Parisian philosopher claimed he could sell his death. Whoever bought it would live forever, as long as he lived.
A banker purchased it for a fortune. Weeks later, the philosopher shot himself — and the banker vanished in the same instant.
The gun was found years later in a pawnshop, with a note attached:
“Still loaded. Still waiting.”
