The Man in the Photograph
The Man in the Photograph
By GoldenSpeechPublished 3 months ago • 1 min read

Liam bought an old photograph from an antique shop showing a family in 1910. Days later, he noticed that the photo had changed: one of the figures, a man in the background, had moved closer.
Every morning, the man was a little nearer. Terrified, Liam tried burning the photograph, but it reappeared intact on his desk. When the man finally reached the front of the picture, he was smiling—and holding a camera.
The climax: Liam woke to find his walls covered in hundreds of photographs, each showing him asleep. The final one captured him looking into the lens—taken from a perspective just behind his shoulder.
