The Glass Kingdom
When beauty became currency, and truth shattered with the mirror.

Once, in a city built entirely of glass, people measured worth by reflection. The queen, born without one, was declared invisible — a curse that stripped her of identity. Yet, her lack of reflection made her dangerous; no one could see her flaws, no one could predict her. She learned to move between mirrors, collecting secrets whispered by those who stared too long.
The people soon realized that mirrors lied — they didn’t reflect truth, only desire. The queen weaponized that, shattering the glass that bound her kingdom. Each shard became a new reality, a new world where people saw only what they wanted to believe. In the end, the queen stepped through the final broken pane, leaving her citizens trapped in illusions of themselves.
Even now, when a mirror cracks without cause, it’s said she’s passing through again — hunting for those who mistake beauty for worth.
