The Ethiopian Bible.

History.

By Guy lynnPublished 2 days ago 1 min read

The Ethiopian Bible represents one of the oldest continuous Christian traditions still in use today. Unlike modern Bibles, which typically contain 66 books, the Ethiopian canon includes 81 books. Several of these texts, including Enoch and Jubilees, were later removed or excluded from other biblical traditions. These writings were not rediscovered centuries later but preserved through continuous use by Ethiopian churches and monasteries. While other Christian traditions debated and restructured their canon, Ethiopia remained largely isolated from later church councils.

Because of that isolation, its biblical tradition has remained largely unchanged for nearly 1,700 years.

Because of that isolation, it is a more accurate version of historical and biblical events. No political agendas and biases have been added or removed by Catholic church leaders or European kings like King James of England.

It is available for purchase on the internet at Amazon and Etsy. However, it is not available in English. That translation project is coming.
