A Techno Carol (with Apologies to Charles Dickens) - A Story in Five Parts
Part III: Jimmy woke up with shakes and sweat. He looked over at the window pooling the moonlight (not as strong as before). And then he looked over at his desk. All the things that should be there were back. There were no boomboxes, Walkmans or old computer systems. Everything was perfect.

Blood Bath - Chapter 1. Content Warning.
The boy turned off the high beams, the fresh fog engulfing the car. Neither he nor his girlfriend could see anything ten feet ahead of the vehicle. The car nestled comfortably into the dirt on the side of the road, the engine still running. It shouldn't be long, hopefully, before the two are back on the road.

Harry Belafonte: A Living Legend and Activist Extraordinaire
It was the spring of 2011, almost twelve years ago, when I had the privilege of meeting the iconic Harry Belafonte at a London hotel in Mayfair. The sunlit day mirrored the brightness of Belafonte's spirit as he had recently published his eloquent autobiography, "My Song," and a documentary, "Sing Your Song," chronicling his extraordinary life, was on the brink of release. While my career as an interviewer has allowed me to engage with many remarkable individuals, spending time with Harry Belafonte was an experience beyond compare, forging a personal connection that added depth to his already profound impact.

Precipice Chapter I: The Fall
The first thing Avery Thompson could recall was her body falling through a violent, stormy sky. Below her was nothing but the roiling waves of a disturbed ocean and the shadows cast by each peak and trough. The air was bitterly frigid - slices of cold lanced her cheeks, chest and arms and tangled into her jacket and hiking pants.

The Rat’s Tale Part 3/ Prequel
“You know I’m having a Christmas party, right?” Diamond asked in a tone that implied not only that she’d already invited me, but that this was a friendship, not a client/ stylist relationship. I thought that was weird, but it was the holidays, and a Mariah Carey tune can really bring the best out of people.

The Marshes
Well, this is it. As I stepped further into the darkness, I knew there was no going back. No magic, no higher power, no parents, no honorables would be able to reach me in this forsaken land. Where I now tread, few have been before. Most of them have not returned. Smoke bellows out of the ground, sulphuric clouds obstruct my view. The smell is putrid. My eyes are teary, my lungs are having trouble taking in oxyen. I know what is behind this cloudy mess I am in. Yet still, my heart is beating rapidly in anticipation.

The Shedding Skin Two
By the time that they dragged a teacher into the gym, the girl was gone. And so was the 'wishing well' that she had sang to. Both girls told the teacher what they had seen. How she was just there a moment ago. Covered in realistic vomit and glowing like a lightning bug. The teacher, Mrs. Hawkins wasn't amused. Her eyes scanned both girls' faces a moment with a thoughtful look on her face. In a soft voice, she said,"There's nothing here. I don't appreciate pranks, girls. I have a lot to do before the dance and I'd like to get it done."

The Cheshire House Sixteen
Hello Journal, We had gone to our job just an hour ago, things seemed fine. And we've been spending time trying to not go back to my Grandparents house. This was going to be a difficult venture and I was worried that we'd find some rotting shambling corpse. The spirit that was trying so hard to protect us from whatever danger it believed was around. I know that expecting to see him walking around is stupid. In fact it's really stupid and I'd smell him pretty easily if he was hiding around the place. But Trevor and myself haven't been that wise lately.
