One Big Fall, During Fall - Continuation
Continuation of Ariel's Dilemma...
Mrs Chav couldn't take it anymore. Her dear daughter was, well...very dear to her and losing her was devastating. Mrs Chav stormed out of the house, her husband confused, and stood, staring at the fern gently waving in the wind.
"I wish she didn't go," whispered Mrs Chav.
"Same," said her husband, emerging from the back, " I wish she didn't."
Suddenly, the always-happy Mrs Chav could see clips of her conversations with Ariel flash before her eyes. She was finally starting to realise what she had done wrong, what she had done to drive her daughter away.
Then, she remembers...
' Ariel comes back home from school, skipping. She immediately directs her speech to her mum and tells her about a new party her class was organizing.
"Mum, I'm gonna need you to drive me to some shops so I can get all the stuff we need for the party. My classmates have all donated money, so I paid less and volunteered to buy the stuff."
"Arii," her mum starts, "You need to divide the workload between all your classmates equally. It's not fair that they're donating money and you're donating time and effort."
"Mum, it's fine. It's just a party," insists Ariel.
Her mum then further insists on making a spreadsheet and a group chat for the party so that everything is equally helped with.
Ariel gets frustrated and tells her mum that it's a very simple party and that they have already started planning. Very soon, the conversation turns into an argument and the heat of it gradually keeps increasing.'
........................................................................................................................
"Okay, so I'm full now and must start walking!" Ariel knows that she must keep going on but her legs strongly disagreed with her. She stood up, then sat down again dud to the lack of motivation she currently felt.
