people who died with their own invention
Beyond the Thunderdome. When I was growing up, I always wanted to have a cool name. I even tried going by the name “Panther-Strike” for a while, but it didn’t really catch on. So when I heard about “Mad Mike Hughes,” I was a bit curious as to how the name came to be. You see, “Mad Mike” was once a limo driver, but now he moonlights as a “flat-earth conspiracy theorist” and “daredevil.” You know, he’s called “Mad” because he was “mad.”

CHARLIE
CHARLES April 30, 2023 Well, I can tell you with certainty that this is not a dream. It has been roughly a week since I woke up and could not open my eyes, according to my calculations. Yesterday, I woke up and I was able to open my eyes. It was slow and they were a little sticky and at first only small slivers of light came in and I blinked a little bit and now I can tell you that my suspicions are confirmed. I am a dog. A very small dog, to be exact. I do not know how this happened but these are the facts, I am sure about that. I am surrounded at all times by other very small dogs, some of which have opened their eyes and stare at me with confusion- rightfully so- and others still have not. Somehow all of us seem to be able to find our way to the large dog that nurses us, but maybe she comes to us, so that we can eat. I understand this is our mother. The whimpering sounds make sense now, and it makes sense why I felt so small. Also, I have never been more perplexed in my life.

My Vocal eclipse story
I wrote this chapter a year ago, while I was recovering from Covid, and it won 2nd place in the Purple Clouds challenge. Ana's Home is still one of my favorite pieces in my Vocal collection, and it involves an eclipse (if you read to the end).

Why is color blue rare in nature
Blue tigers are nonexistent. There are no blue squirrels, bats, or canines. Blue whales are not exactly that blue. Although animals can be found in virtually any color, blue appears to be the rarest. However, what's interesting is that when we do encounter a blue animal, it has an incredible appearance. Blue is not handled halfway by nature. To comprehend the reason for this, we shall embark on an exploration of evolution, chemistry, and some exceptionally fascinating physics. However, to ascertain the reason why creatures exhibit any coloration, we must examine some butterflies... because butterflies are magnificent... And if you disagree, you are mistaken. Bob Robbins appears here. He is the curator of Lepidoptera at the Washington, D.C.-based National Museum of Natural History.
