Kia Ford Attending The English Premiere Festivities

Chapter Seventeen- Beach Conversation

By Marc OBrienPublished about a year ago 3 min read

Despite the festive frosty holiday a few days away, Kia Ford sat on her porch dreaming of a beach Christmas.

“My dear Peacock, you sure do make a nice cocktail,”

“Well, thank you,” the colorful marketing character responded refilling her drink.

“Now what do we have to do today?”

As the faithful fowl shoulders shrugged the doorbell rang, “I will get that,” the Peacock feathers ruffled, “I am coming,” Kia Ford heard, taking a sip.

Opening the entry way, revealed two surfer looking sandy blonde bums, “may I ask who is calling?” The Peacock inquired.

“We are the Albion brothers, is Porsche Man here?”

Peering down the Peacock told the pair, “No I am afraid not, we have a new west ham united resident, Kia Ford?”

“Is she also a star-spangled banner type?” One questioned.

“Yes, she is,” the Peacock confirmed.

“Well then I am Brighton,”

“And I am Hove, may we come in?”

“Are you looking for goals?” The Peacock wanted clarification.

Observing the two looking at each other, the Peacock relinquished, letting them in,

“Miss Kia Ford, you have a visiting guest,” the Peacock chimed turning on the bubble machine located inside the hall.

Leaving the cold Kia Ford greeted, “well if it isn’t the Albion siblings from the seagull seashore scene.”

“Hanging loose and getting good waves,” Brighton royally boasted.

Proceeding into the living room, the Peacock performed caretaker duties stoking the fire allowing a warm setting to embrace the meeting, “why don’t you get the boys some tea and cookies, Peacock,”

“Yes, Miss Kia Ford,” the Peacock acknowledged disappearing.

“We are in the top ten you know,” Hove mentioned.

“That is a great accomplishment,” Kia Ford commented, “as for me I am trying to stave off relegation.”

“You are safely in the fourteenth position,” the Peacock reappeared bringing good tidings.

“That is true,” Kia Ford remarked, “but one never knows.”

“You could have mountain climbing equipment in your stocking,” Brighton positively suggested.

For the first forty-five minutes they just sat around, worshipping the blazing yule logs, when the second half returned one goal was expected.

“What are these?” Hove asked.

“They are weiffers,” the Peacock answered, “I bought them down at the store.”

“You know who created these?” Brighton eyes lit up, “surfer dude Weifer,”

“Wasn’t that his first goal,” Hove noted.

Taken back, seeing the blue and white Albion brothers already having a goal, Kia Ford stood up, “excuse me,” she requested before mumbling, “I am surely going to be relegated.”

Stepping away out of sight, the Bowen shrine summoned the American mover and shaker, “do you need my assistance?” The fixture offered, “do not worry everything will be kudos, just go back over there, have a seat.”

Hearing this uplifting thought Kia Ford felt the goal inside her heart, “so how is everything?”

“Great,” the Brothers Albion retorted and seeing their confidence and attempt for another goal scared Kia Ford who stayed calm rescuing the near tragedy.

Full time soon arrived, and they were both level, mutually agreeing departure time commencing, satisfied about the wonderful afternoon conversation.

“Enjoy your trip back to the beach,” Kia Ford kindly stated.

“Yeah, we need to get back and get some buzz,” Brighton told her,

“and honey,” Hove added.

“Really?” Kia Ford acted surprised.

“Meeting with Brent Ford,” Hove spilled the beans.

“You know we are not related,” Kia Ford cautiously approached, leading them outside.

After shutting the door, Kia Ford turned to the Peacock, “so what else is on the agenda?”

Taking a quick look, the Peacock noted, “we visit the Saints then host the boys in the band.”

“You do not think that duet were here spying for Brent Ford knowing that the boys in the band will be playing here?”

As the Peacock pondered, Kia Ford realized, she needed goals, and the Saints could be a nice three-point provider group.
