IMPROVE DEPRESSION

The aim of this discussion is to ensure that as we progress through life and age, our brains become healthier and more robust, rather than deteriorating, which is often the case if we are not mindful of the necessary measures to safeguard them. Greetings, esteemed listeners, and welcome to the Glucose Goddess Show. I am Justin Chusp, a biochemist dedicated to helping you comprehend your body, brain, and nutrition, enabling you to achieve optimal well-being and lead the life you desire. In this episode, we will explore various aspects of brain health, including brain fog, personality changes, irritability, mood fluctuations, mental health, and the long-term implications of Alzheimer's disease. This subject is particularly significant to me, as my journey into health and glucose was prompted by my own struggles with mental health. During my early twenties, I faced numerous challenges, including depression, anxiety, dissociation, and panic attacks, which were incredibly difficult to navigate. Throughout that period, I recognized my limited understanding of brain function. The brain remains a complex and enigmatic organ, and while we do not have all the answers, scientific advancements are revealing fascinating insights. You may be surprised to learn that your dietary choices significantly influence your brain health, which in turn affects your daily emotional state and overall identity. For me, mental health was the primary concern, and it took years to discover effective strategies for improvement. Ultimately, I found that frequent glucose spikes were exacerbating my mental health issues, triggering dissociative episodes and intensifying my anxiety and depression. By addressing my dietary habits, I began to see positive changes.
