Waves of the brain
is it deception or illusion
THE ILLUSION OF THE MIND .
The brain stands as one of the most intricate entities known to humanity. Within it exists a greater number of connections than there are stars in the Milky Way galaxy. Thus, we carry within our minds the equivalent of approximately 10,000 galaxies' worth of neuronal connections. This extensive network of connections is what constitutes our very being. But how does this occur? Understanding the mechanism by which the brain manifests the mind presents a formidable challenge. It appears that the external world seamlessly enters our consciousness through the clear portals of our eyes, ears, and other senses. However, is what we perceive truly real? One might assume that the reality outside aligns with our perceptions, but the truth is quite the opposite. From the very outset, we are engaged in the transformation of reality. It feels authentic simply because we lack awareness of the process. Consider the phenomenon of optical illusions. Do you recall the infamous dress? It sparked a divisive discussion online, with opinions split between white and gold versus blue and black. Illusions are captivating; they serve as cracks in our perception of reality. They illustrate that our interpretations of the world may not accurately reflect its true nature. Could it be that you are the greatest illusion of all? Your self-perception is as much an illusion as anything else; you are not an exception. "Your Brain: The Deception of Perception." Have you ever pondered the nature of reality? Somehow, the entire world outside infiltrates my consciousness. How can I ascertain that what I see, hear, and feel is accurate? This question has intrigued me since childhood. One sleepless night, I encountered this thought for the first time: even if I were devoid of a physical form, could I still retain my inner thoughts? The following day, I inquired of my father, "Dad, where do my thoughts originate?" He replied, "They come from your brain." "Your brain." This revelation captivated me. This gelatinous mass encased within my skull—how does it function? I believe it represents one of the ultimate enigmas: the transformation of matter into thought.
