HEALTHY Creamy Tuna Pasta Salad | Seriously GOOD 20 Minute Recipe
Today, we're going to prepare a simple yet delicious recipe: creamy tuna pasta salad. This dish combines fantastic textures and flavors without any complex techniques or special equipment, and it's ready in under 30 minutes. It's versatile too—perfect served chilled or at room temperature, making it ideal for any time of year.
Let's get started by boiling water in a stockpot with a generous pinch of sea salt. Once boiling, add 8 oz (225 grams) of fusilli pasta (or your choice of pasta like penne or bow tie). Cook until al dente, then drain and set aside.
While the pasta cools, prepare the remaining ingredients: thinly slice a small red onion, finely chop a red bell pepper, slice half a cup (60 grams) of pitted black olives, and roughly chop a small handful of parsley (about 2 tablespoons or 8 grams). Drain two cans of tuna in olive oil, gently flake it, and set aside.
Transfer the cooled pasta to a large bowl. Add the chopped vegetables, flaked tuna, and one container (200 grams or about 7 oz) of low-fat plain Greek yogurt. Finely grate in one large clove of garlic, season generously with sea salt and freshly cracked black pepper, and mix everything together thoroughly.
This creamy tuna pasta salad can be served immediately at room temperature or chilled. It stays fresh in the fridge for up to 3 to 4 days. Enjoy its heart-healthy ingredients and beautiful presentation!
For a perfect meal, pair it with a crunchy baguette and chilled white wine. It's quick, nutritious, and incredibly satisfying—truly one of the easiest and most delicious recipes you'll try!
