❤️ Having the Blues: The Art of Mindful Meditation ❤️
❤️ Motivational Mindfulness: Budo Society Demonstration❤️
❤️The Alchemy of Mindfulness ❤️
It starts with love. . . .
Because of the pandemic, my 25 year old martial arts club shut down. We performed in ComicCons, various libraries, and international festivals in California, Altanta, Texas, and Nepal.
Though we demonstrate martial arts, we became performance artists, adding humor, costumes, and music. Indeed, we had ninjas flipping in the air, innovative dances, and Japanese taiko drums.
Then, I received an email from a festival organizer. Therefore, I know how to enhance our demonstration with suspense, surprise and shock. These are mindful alchemical interconnections to celebrate a rewarding life. With only one day to practice, we had to be quickly creative.
❤️Zen Meal of Suspense❤️
An audience will become bored if one showcases an outstanding show piece at first. Therefore, save the last for the end. If you go to eat and bring out the main dishes first, you may not enjoy your zen meal as much. Awareness comes in timed intervals, so be mindful of your time. Wait and then you will enjoy the best for last.

❤️Zen Meals of Sweet and Sour Surprises❤️
Zen surprises bring alchemical magic into the world. Even in the emptiness of the half filled cup, one becomes more joyful of the surprise waiting at the golden pearls in the bottom.
During one demonstration, that seemed to have two Kung Fu clans trying to kill each other with swords; instead, they had put their weapons down and had a dance off and shook their zen butter butts to soul rap music.
The audience laughed, for it was more like a hip hop street dance. Infact, they started to scream with luminous applause.
I gave a zen smile to my performers who shook their booties. . . .
❤️Providing Zen Meals of Shock❤️
Finally, when a surprise is added to the demonstration, the audience becomes hooked ecstatically, fully entertained, and fully intertwined more. To be a performer, you have to know how to create tension and extension.
❤️Growing up Buddhist❤️
I grew up in a Korean Buddhist Temple, my mother could not afford day care, so she dropped me off at the temple and they fed me and entertained me while she worked. They loved having me. They even played games with me.
❤️The Magic of Zen Mountain❤️❤️
One day at the temple, a Buddhist monk smiled and said he had a surprise for me. We drove off in his car and we went to Magic Mountain, an amusement park. He had more fun then me. People were shocked to see a bald monk and a kid walking about.
He fed me there and was screaming on the roller coaster as I laughed with joy.
Later I thought my mother paid for it, but the temple did because I was such a good kid and because I asked about Buddhist mindful meditation and they taught me.
Later I became a Mindful Wellness Coach because most people do not understand mindfulness.
❤️The Power of Zen Laughter❤️
Finally, as a kid I wanted to become a monk because these monks were the happiest people alive. They had no job, paid no taxes and were always laughing. I even heard them laugh during meditation.
They were in love with life. . . . Shouldn't we all be the same.
❤️Thank you for reading, . . . ❤️
Though the pandemic ended, my club has not been the same, we do not have a demo team yet. I am trying to rebuild the club. Oh I do not charge for lessons. It is free.
It starts with love. . make love not war.
Repeat this magica mantra of healing daily >
