GHOST (chapter 4)
can you be in a band if you're dead?
Meanwhile, with Oliver and Garry, in math class. Sitting next to eachother, dying of boredom. the teacher, Mr. Clay, is rambiling on about.... Something. Garry and Oliver weren't paying attention.
"What class is this? History?" Garry whispered to Oliver. "Or math?"
Oliver sighs. "It's math... And it's going to be the death of me..." He mumbled, making sure Mr. Clay couldn't hear him. But, of course, he heard it.
"Mr. Jackson? Mr. Ross? Would you like to tell the class what you both were talking about?" Mr. Clay asked. 'Ross' is Garry's last name, and 'Jackson' is Oliver's. "Go ahead, tell the class."
"Um... Fine, we were talking about-" Garry gets cut off by Oliver, who put his hand over Garry's mouth, making sure he doesn't get them both in trouble like they always do.
"About how awesome this class is! Yeah, me and Garry love math, right dude?" Oliver looks at Garry, with the "just agree" look. And they both nod.
"Fine. but don't do it again. Although I'm flattered that you enjoy my class, I would like you both, along with all your classmates, to be able to hear what I'm teaching. Do you two understand?" Mr. Clay asked, not quite believing their lie, but not wanting to waste any more time.
"Yes sir, we understand. We won't talk about the best class ever anymore!" Oliver smiles, making himself look innocent, which he is not! But he doesn't want to get in trouble, especially not if it'll get his best friend in trouble too. So he just keeps acting innocent.
