GHOST (chapter 2)

Harper and Oliver, brother and sister. they are walking to school, talking about the most weird thing ever. Oliver's dream he had the night before. "And for some weird reason, Garry was floating. but he had a frog body."

"Why would he have a frog body? Why not a... Fish body? Or a cat?" Harper wondered. Oliver always had weird dreams, but recently, each one had something to do with his best friend, Garry. Or food. sometimes both.

"I don't KNOW! But he did look kinda adorable as a frog. Or was he a toad... I don't know." oh, Oliver, he doesn't even know. Garry and Oliver have been best friends for years. like, since they were 6 and 7, and how they are 16 and 17. If only Harper had a best friend. but nope, people don't like how weird she is, or the fact that it's kind of easy to anger her. Hopefully, they get a new band member so she can have a friend who isn't in love with her brother.

"I heard there's a new kid at school. Apparently, they moved into that haunted mansion on Phantom Street. Why call it that and then give it a haunted house? That's just dumb." Oliver told Harper. "But you know what's dumber? The person who moved there! Why move into a haunted house on Phantom Street? It just isn't normal!"

"Like you? And anyway, maybe they didn't have anywhere else to move? And that house is pretty cheap for its size." Harper answered. She and Oliver continue talking about it, until...

"OLIVER! HARPER! GUESS WHAT?!?!?!" Garry yells, scaring both Harper and Oliver. Garry does that a lot: runs behind his friends and yells.

"What do you want, Garry? It better not be something stupid, or else." Harper sighed, Annoyed by Garry, like always.

"Be nice to him, H. What did you want to tell us, Garry?" Oliver asked Garry, making sure his sister doesn't try to kill him.

"Um... Yeah I forgot.." Garry sighed. and then he got smacked in the head by Harper. But that's normal to him, since he annoys her a lot. "Jeez Harper. You're so mean to me!"

"Yeah, I know. It's kinda my thing!" Harper admitted like it was obvious. "Now, let's go, I wanna show the new student around." She added.

"The one on Phantom Street?" Garry asked Harper. "I wonder if they would want to join our band? We do need a singer!"

"And a name. We can't go nameless forever." Oliver reminded him. "how about... The French Fries?"

"The French Fries? That's dumb." Harper told Oliver. "I'm going to leave you guys now." Harper told them, then ran to school, leaving Oliver and Garry.

Garry then said the dumbst thing ever. "WE BOYS MUST BEAT HER! CHARGE!!" And ran after Harper, Oliver trying to catch up to Garry.
