'Let's date. I think you're hot!' - He replied to my story.

'Yeah-uh? Sure!' - I replied jokingly.

He DM'd me his number & asked mine for a quick call right away. I had no idea what I was doing, but I went along with everything that was happening in the moment. It was unusual & exciting at the same time!

That was the first time I heard his deep, husky whisper, 'Hello?'

'Hey!' I replied. My pulse raced so fast, I was sure he could hear it!

'I wasn't sure you're even gonna reply, umm... but you did! Today's my lucky day I guess.' A slow deep chuckle escaped him- dark, teasing, and entirely too dangerous.

'Uh, I guess! Haha.' God knows I've never been this weak in my legs for any man in my 21 years of life I had lived on this planet.

We talked for exactly 35 minutes that evening and I knew I've already fallen hard for this stranger I met online. He dropped the call before saying good bye and I was unable to sleep all night, I had already started missing his deep, gravelly whispers curled around my name like a secret only meant for me. 'Bella, Bella, Bella.'

"BELLA!" My mother's scream pierced through my sweet dreams, 'you'll be late again for work.'

Highly disappointed, I murmured, 'I'm up. getting up'

It was 7-45 a.m. and I had to leave in exactly 15 minutes for work. So, I was at my 100% energy to not be late again. I was rushing through my room for clothes, my laptop, phone, charger, and purse.

'If only you sleep on time at night, you'll be able to get up early in the morning like I do.' My mother and her comparisons had already begun but I had no time for this right now.

'I'll be late today, we're going for an office dinner.' I informed her.

'where is the dinner?' she asked curiously.

'I don't know yet mum, I'll call to inform you.' I told her while putting on my worn out blue converse I bought 4 years ago from thrift store.

'Okay, eat the dinner with them, I'll not cook today.' She said carelessly.

'BEEP.BEEEEEP', The cheerful double honk signaled the arrival of my ride.

I rushed towards the door to leave the house immediately. 'Bye'. I shouted while shutting the door behind me. I skipped 2-3 stairs at once to reach the parking of my building where our office van was already waiting. I got inside, put on my handsfree and listened to the usual songs while getting at least half an hour more asleep on the go.

At exactly 9.15 a.m. I arrived at the office. I went in my department and sat on my desk while ordering a cup of coffee. That was my usual routine and I had already forgotten about that deep, husky whispers already when I heard my phone chiming with a few notification, that was not usual at this hour... I checked my phone and It was him, 'Good morning sunshine.'

'Missed me much?!, I missed you though!' - I was overjoyed reading this smiling like a fool in love.

But the next text was enough to made me jump from my screen, "would you travel a thousand miles for me?! I wanna see you this weekend." I imagined him saying this in his low, steady baritone, sending heat rushing through my veins.
