Eclipsed Souls: A Tale of Twin Flames
Chapter 7: The Stars Have Eyes

Arnaz sat in the corner of the dimly lit bookstore, cradling a steaming cup of coffee. The transformation of Pilot’s Café had been a resounding success, drawing in more visitors than Saliza had ever imagined. Yet, despite the café's lively ambiance, an unsettling feeling had taken hold of him. He glanced up from his cup, his gaze fixating on the soft glow reflecting from the skylight.
The stars.
Throughout his years as a pilot, the stars had been his constant companions, guiding him through the night sky. Lately, though, they had begun to feel different, more than mere celestial objects. It was as if they were observing him, whispering secrets he couldn’t quite decipher, stirring something deep within him that was both familiar and unknown.
As he took another sip of his coffee, he noticed a peculiar flicker in the glow above. Frowning, he stood up, his eyes locked on the skylight. “Love,” he called out, his voice calm but edged with urgency.
Saliza emerged from behind a bookshelf, her expression a mix of curiosity and fatigue. She had been on edge since they started their kitchen garden at the bookstore's yard. Arnaz understood that changes were challenging for her, especially when it involved such a significant shift.
“What is it?” she asked, her tone reflective of her weariness.
Arnaz’s gaze remained fixed on the ceiling. “Look at the stars. Do you see that?”
Saliza squinted, her eyes scanning the sky. To her, the stars appeared normal, though unusually bright. “They look fine to me.”
“Not fine,” Arnaz muttered, stepping closer to the skylight, his eyes narrowing in focus. “They’re flickering. Almost like they’re trying to send a signal.”
Saliza sighed softly, crossing her arms over her chest. “Dear, I think you’ve been working too hard. The café’s only been open for a month, and you’re already running yourself into the ground. Maybe it’s just your eyes—”
“It’s not my eyes,” Arnaz interjected, his voice carrying a note of steel. He moved back toward her, his demeanor shifting to that of a pilot in command. “I’ve spent years navigating the skies. I know the stars. These ones… they’re trying to tell me something.”
His intensity made Saliza pause. There was a resoluteness in his voice that reminded her of the confidence that had guided him through countless flights and storms.
“What do you think they’re trying to say?” Saliza asked, her voice softening.
Arnaz shook his head, deep in thought. “I’m not sure yet. But I’m going to find out.”
Without waiting for her response, he headed toward the back of the bookstore, where the ladder to the rooftop was stored. Saliza, now intrigued by his unusual behavior, followed closely.
On the rooftop, the cool night air greeted them, and the stars hung low and clear in the dark sky. Arnaz’s expression was focused as he stared up at the shimmering constellations. “There’s something about tonight. I’ve been sensing it for days.”
Saliza stood beside him, her concern growing. “Arnaz, what do you mean? What exactly are you feeling?”
He remained silent for a moment, his gaze fixed on the celestial display.
Then, in a voice low and steady, he said, “The stars have been calling to me.”
Saliza blinked, unsure if she had heard him correctly. “The stars? Calling to you?”
Arnaz nodded. “Not in words, not exactly. But there’s a rhythm to their light, a pattern. It’s like they’re communicating with me, guiding me toward something. It’s an energy I’ve felt before but never this strongly.”
As if on cue, the stars above them shimmered with increasing brilliance, their light pulsating in a rhythm that seemed to sync with Arnaz’s own heartbeat.
The sky itself appeared to ripple as constellations shifted and formed new patterns.
The air grew thick with an electric charge, and the stars seemed to draw closer, their light becoming blindingly bright.
Saliza gripped Arnaz’s arm, her heart racing. “What’s happening?”
Arnaz stood firm, his body tense but resolute. “Hold on,” he instructed. “Whatever this is, we face it together.”
The celestial event intensified, creating an awe-inspiring display. The stars seemed to swirl and dance, casting patterns across the sky that defied the usual order.
A deep, resonant voice echoed through the air, coming from everywhere and nowhere.
“Follow the light, Pilot. The darkness will find you soon.”
Arnaz’s grip on Saliza’s hand tightened. “Did you hear that?” he asked, his voice unwavering.
Saliza nodded, her eyes wide with a mix of fear and determination. “What do we do?”
Arnaz didn’t hesitate. “We find the light.”
As they stood under the watchful eyes of the stars, the realization dawned on them both. The stars had revealed their path as Twin Flames.
Mirrors to each other yet opposites in essence.
Arnaz, the embodiment of light and intuition, and Saliza, the bearer of shadows and grounded resilience.
Saliza turned to Arnaz, her voice trembling with a mix of wonder and uncertainty. “Twin Flames...dear?"
Arnaz nodded, his eyes locked on the sky. “Yes love. I feel it. Twin Flames .. two halves of the same Soul, but so different. The light and the dark. You and me. We’re bound together, yet we’re opposites. It’s why everything collides between us. Twin Flames are believed to be two halves of one soul, split into two bodies. They are destined to find each other and experience a journey of profound growth and transformation. Our connection challenges us to confront our deepest fears and embrace our true selves.”
Saliza’s heart pounded as she tried to process it. “Twin Flames….. ? We’re not meant to fit ... or are we?”
“Maybe that’s exactly why we are,” Arnaz whispered, his voice filled with wonder.
“We’re here to challenge each other, to grow, to find balance. The stars have been watching, guiding us to this moment. Our differences are not obstacles but opportunities for growth. We have a purpose my love, and we need to find it. Together.”
As the celestial display continued, their connection burned brighter than ever, like a celestial dance between the darkness and the light. The path ahead was uncertain, but with the stars guiding them, they knew they were ready to face whatever lay ahead.
The stars had more to reveal, and their journey as Twin Flames was only beginning.
