Echoes of Eternity

The night hung heavy with an eerie stillness as Emily made her way through the dense woods that surrounded her cabin. A rising moon cast silvery beams through the canopy, illuminating her path with an ethereal glow. Leaves rustled underfoot, and the distant hoot of an owl echoed through the trees.
