Delayed Transaction Confirmations in Ledger Wallet
Delayed Transaction Confirmations in Ledger Wallet
By Brad BelickPublished about a year ago • 1 min read

Delayed transaction confirmations are a common occurrence with Ledger Wallets, and there are a couple of reasons why this might happen:
To fix this
Please download the last update of Ledger Live Application:
1. Network Congestion: Blockchains process transactions by including them in blocks. When there’s a lot of activity on the network, there can be a backlog of transactions waiting to be confirmed. This can lead to delays, especially if you included a low fee with your transaction.
2. Low Transaction Fees: Transaction fees act as an incentive for miners to prioritize your transaction. Lower fees mean your transaction might wait in line for a while before getting picked up for confirmation.
What you can do to resolve issues:
- Wait and See: A little patience is all you need. Give it 2–3 hours, especially if you just initiated the transaction.
- Check Ledger Live Version: Make sure you’re using the latest version of Ledger Live. Outdated software can sometimes cause display issues.
- Clear Ledger Live Cache: Clearing the cache can help Ledger Live resync with the blockchain and update the transaction status.
- Increase Transaction Fee: If the transaction is stuck for a longer duration, consider increasing the fee to incentivize miners to confirm it faster. This option might not be available for all cryptocurrencies on Ledger Live.
