Businnesswoman Chapter 166
Guile

Cigar smoke coiled in the air. Cognac poured onto ice. All women, they sat around a table with other potent potables.
“We have to get on the Collectivists’ side,” Franca Corsica mentioned.
“The individualists are too strong and confident in their abilities. They’re also making money like it’s falling from the ceiling,” Pearla Knox admitted.
They all drew in the smoke at the same time and exhaled like synchronized smokers. Next, they drank from their glasses.
“If we could just get that ringleader Loreen to be humbled and taken to a lower form. She’s too cocky. Too confident. She knows what she’s doing.”
“We’ve gotta formulate a plot to take the three of them off their perch. It could be quite the task, but it’s not impossible.”
Anna Nichols, a too thin woman with dark features although she clearly looked Caucasian, offered something. “I say we just wipe them out altogether.”
“No,” Pearla interjected. “They would actually want that. Especially Loreen. Her family is set straight for at least five generations if they don’t mess up the money.”
“Yes, I agree. It’d be too easy. Making them grovel and want to be wealthy again would be the ultimate punishment.”
“How do we take their funds?” Anna asked.
“It’s really simple. We can sabotage their companies, we can disrupt their speeches, there are other ways….” Franca explored.
“If we can just get them in some kind of scandal, then that is what we must do. Make them beg for their lives and all that cash that rightfully should go to us. We’re not being selfish, we’re just taking care of ourselves. That’s unselfish.”
“Regardless,” Anna proclaimed, “we’re going to have to do this within precision and guile.”
“We’ll finally be rid of the Individualists at last,” Corsica announced, her smoke coiling.
