Once the pizza had cooked thoroughly, Loreen observed her steaming pie replete with bacon, ham, and sausage. She added a bit of truffles to round out the flavor. She sliced a piece for her. She let the rest sit out until it cooled and wrapped it for Kelcy. Her deft movements showed her prowess in the kitchen as if she ran a boardroom meeting.
She savored her slice and then went to work.
By creating a space where she could properly address about three hundred people, she strategized with an energy and fervor that befit a spark plug. Her femininity showed in her graceful motions; every movement was like a shock of electricity in power and elegance. She organized letterhead and gathered enough intelligence on the company that had not been available before Turing told her. She ambled around her home office. With each of her modes of focus, she chose to get the best angle on cutting out as many buzzwords that the corporate crowd would loathe.
It’s because she despised them first. Out of her mouth, and Lisa’s, they would spark revelations in the language of business. Everything had to be original and clear and true. Loreen wrote down on index cards the scenes she would project with her words. Each one would lift up the notion of goodness.
The permanent marker she used bled through the cards and she still felt comfortable without using digital assistance. It was old school but it ruled at the moment. Each squeak on the cards told her that she could convey a message of excellence. To get to the point where she could almost be totally satisfied, she worked her way through her presentation. Her aptitude permitted her the latitude.
After she showered and dressed, she sent a text to Lisa.
