Loreen turned the key and let the engine pur. Her eyes turned to saucers and her grin looked like a billion dollars. She had finally conquered the dragon in fixing the old rust bucket up enough to be clean, finely polished and valuable. She exited the car and looked at her video phone.

“Businesswoman, we need you,” Sylvester Turing admitted.

“What is it this time, Sly?”

“We’re losing morale in these meetings. They’re long on time and short on substance. You have to come in again,” he implored.

“I don’t have to do anything but live and die. I, however, will accept a higher fee as before in the hopes that you and your colleagues can get motivated.”

During her time as a leadership counselor, Loreen had instructed thousands of businespeople. That’s what helped to build her wealth. She walked around like a tiny, chocolate colored empress that had earned her title and ruled only her own actions.

With a pinstriped dark purple suit and a headset, she commanded rooms like a lion tamer. Finesse and wordplay all became ingredients in her elixir of corporate encouragement.

When she knew that there existed a problem in the structure of the company, she pulled out her spiritual whip to get the c-suite on down to lock in on performance. Her bravada showed through with all of her motions. Despite her small stature, she stepped on stage and delivered like a Baptist preacher on Sunday morning dripping of faith. Only her tool remained reason.

She called Lisa on video. Businessgirl picked up on the second dial.

“Hey, what’s up?”

“I want you to accompany me to this corporate function yearning for leadership skills,” Loreen explained.

“Of course. Send me the address and I’ll be over there.”

“We’re just going to win,” Loreen spoke.
