“So, you’d still say get rid of controls and regulations which I agree with, but…” Lisa started. The two women traded drive shots at Loreen’s home.
“‘But?’ There is no but,” Loreen looked out over her property as Lisa sipped coffee.
“I mean I’m all for do for self and not have to beg for the unearned…I just think….”
“That’s it! Think! When you bar faith, groups, and selflessness, you will see that the only way to ‘repay’ descendents of carnage, is to rid everyone of the government’s throttling of businesses and individuals.”
Lisa sipped. She shook her head. “I have to disagree, Lor’.”
“Is that right?”
“Yes. The money is what comes with the poor compensation of years of torture and bondage experienced by our ancestors.”
“Okay. We consider the pragmatic idea of money and what it would be. Now, you and I know that money is a clean, spiritual reality. Not to be confused with mystics, it is caused by the mind. We know that not every person of other ancestors received payment for the pain and suffering and deaths which occurred.”
“This is true.”
“So what makes you think you can just say the US government owes anyone anything when everyone involved has died? There were reports of people being abused well into the twentieth century. If that’s the case, remunerate those individuals and their descendants only. It’s all about true morality.”
Lisa stood up on the tee and executed a shot that displayed her ability like a machine or robot. Her excellent form and tidy form signalled her skills.
“I am starting to agree with you more and more. I, of course, want to remain objective.”
“That’s the only proper way. As long as a people bow and scrape to the unknown and unknowable, they’ll fail.”

By the time he hit Bubastos, he knew as much as a journeyman sailor, and was able to sail a small boat by himself, or be part of a crew without embarrassing himself.
