By sitting down at the travel house in Delaware, Loreen and Lisa looked around. The business, the power of commerce, fulfilled their expectations.
“We can take a break sometimes,” Loreen intoned to Lisa.
“Oh, absolutely,” she dabbed her mouth where some ketchup had resided for two seconds.
“You see…there are people who don’t even know what this is all about right now. This is about the dollar. The ‘greedy’, money-hungry capitalists are in it for themselves. That rankles folks,” Loreen said, biting into a steak burrito.
“We have relative anonymity. We don’t don capes and masks or have utility belts. We don’t fly. We set businesses right and fight the Collectivists with our wits,” Lisa pointed out.
Loreen’s eyes became saucers as she accepted her partner in saving businesses.
“That’s right. Around here, there’s too much hustle and bustle. Too much trading. The Collectivists actually like that. They just don’t know where it comes from. Commerce is excellent but it’s nothing without the protection of property rights.”
Lisa nodded, biting into a bison burger.
“Just the supply chain starting from the business people who come up with an idea and then it lands on our plates. How did that happen? Why is the sign of the dollar their only recognition that they used their minds to capacity?”
Lisa drank some soda. “They want the billions, but in order for them to generate funds, it’s all about thought. The thinking that went into this burger…from the executive suite, the farmer, the butcher, the, the cashiers, they all constitute great business,” Lisa observed.
Loreen nodded as well. “I’m so glad I have you by my side. That’s exactly it. It’s a beautiful dance of dollars that occurs like a ballet of cash displayed on stage. That stage just happens to be here.”
