Socialista looked sullen. She felt bitter. In her dark dishwater eyes, she exhibited little life. Common Man and Fascinder showed similar traits but she looked the worst.
“I’m going to make this right,” she mumbled.
“I’ll go down and turn myself in,” she stammered.
“No, no. They don’t know who did it. We can just glaze over this one,” Common Man reassured. “Once we get rid of the classes, cops will perform their jobs according to what we say. Until then, they’re just as oppressed as we.”
Fascinder grinned. “I’m fond of the police.”
“We know,” Socialista and Common Man chimed.
“I’m serious. I used to be a cop.”
“We know.”
“It took me time to realize that if I’m going to survive, I would have to join you two.”
“We’re here. This is bigger than us. I want us to understand this… we have to spread our ideas in total. It is all about the group. We don’t even matter. We’re nothing but matter,” Common man expounded.
“I guess you’re right,” Socialista managed to say. “I mean we have a common foe…that’s the rich. There can be no more of the wealthy sponging off our labor. The Capitalists want to stamp out our cause as a reason for existence.”
“She’s finally perking up,” Fascinder grinned.
“We’ve all gotta perk up. It’s incumbent upon us to form an amalgam of protest against the state and classes. But we have to approach it with caution. We can’t be going around pepper spraying cops in the eyes.”
“We’ve got to spray them in the mouth, then?” Fascinder flashed that same wicked grin.
“I’m serious, Fasc’. We must comply with them until the state is no longer recognized and we can live in utopia.”
“Like that’s really going to happen,” Fascinder blurted out.
