It hit her with unexpected breathlessness. Lisa’s businesses related to pushing forth positive images of fossil fuels. She looked at the numbers dwindling as each company shuttered.
The total number of people who had been championing the role of natural gas, coal, and oil in Delaware became staggering. Lisa jumped on the chance to become an investor after weeks of research. Now, people fell off like siding during a hurricane.
When she noticed this, she took on the role of finder of truths. Her take on this pushed her to become even more focused. With a few taps on her mobile device, she alerted her 501 (c) (3) organizations to pour money into the commercial businesses.
With great speed and accuracy, Lisa realized she had been tapping through group after group. She called Loreen.
“Hey,” she announced, her voice slightly quavering.
“What’s up? Are you okay?”
“I’m fine. Mostly. I have an issue with my porfolio….”
“It must be going around like a plague,” Loreen replied.
“You got hit, too?” Lisa asked.
“It’s a rough road out here. We’re upper class, but we’re only a few stages away from leveling down, that’s true,” Loreen explained.
“What do we do?”
“It’s simple. Hold onto less volatile members of the market and continue to talk, write, and keep this momentum.”
“I thank you again, Loreen.”
“It’s never too late until it’s too late. We have the rocket deal. We have so much to be selfish about and to enjoy life. There are nefarious forces out there like the Collectivists. But they mean nothing. We’re on the side of truth and we will claim victory.”
Lisa soaked in Loreen’s words. She relished the thought of rational self-interest as being the driving power behind Loreen’s words. Refreshing and cool, they felt like the wind.
