“When you lose your job, and some of us will, see if you can create jobs. See if you can turn that negative not just positive, but as a sign that you can take care of yourself. That’s often never stated. If a vagrant standing by the roadside holds up a cardboard placard broadcasting, ‘Anything helps. God bless,’ most times you’re going to get people to say, ‘get a job.’ To hell with that. Let that individual know that they can in fact find work, but also see if you can’t encourage them to be entrepreneurial.”
“The toughest part about being an industrial person isn’t the fact that so many people are conditioned to be workers. We can all be CEOs of the spirit. We can govern ourselves with the same fervor and drive of any major corporation head exec. All it takes is for us to realize the potential brewing in us and to execute on that particular sensation. Anyone with just an ounce of will can achieve great things. That’s something we take for granted. We just say, ‘I want a good job.’ We utter this without even thinking. We should be making great jobs. There should be an abundance of positions to fill and roles to be developed.”
“So I ask you…do you want to just languish away at a desk making a comfy six figure income, knowing you could get axed at any moment, or do you want to burst open the doors and compensate yourself three or four lifetimes. If you cleared out your desk right now, would you take the steps to not just financial freedom but to psychic reward? The path to a day where you’re not just crunching data is upon you. Do consider that alternative. Thank you.” Loreen accepted the applause.
