As Lisa relaxed by her pool, she couldn’t actually just relax. She hired a property manager to tend to her lawn care and domestic needs. Only the manager, Hadley Vaughn, had been skipping out on some appointments and refused to answer her calls.
“Yes, Hadley. You’re the property manager—please manage!” She hung up the phone. Vaughn came to her abode with supplies and a small team of about four other men who looked like they might be targets for immigration services.
“I’m sorry Businessgirl,” Vaugn apologized.
“Call me Miss Conway, please,” Lisa corrected.
“I’m sorry, of course. You can go out and fight fraud, waste, and hazards while we take care of everything, okay?”
Lisa smirked and walked past him.
As she exited, a ride share car had already pulled up to take her to New Castle to meet up with Loreen and Atkinson. When she finally arrived at the Breen residence, the two other non caped crusaders had been chatting for a while. The staff of the house welcomed her into the space once more.
“You hailed a rideshare here again, didn’t you?” Loreen arose, hands on hips. Atkinson put a hand in the air and waved softly.
“You can use my Goulding, you know that,” Loreen put in a stern yet soft voice.
“That reminds me….”Atkinson added. “I’ve gotta get a helicopter.”
“We can get to that after we fix this current problem. There’s been a rash of porch pirates going through Delaware small businesses. Now, of course we leave crime to the cops but we can inject funds to provide cameras to these firms.”
Atkinson championed Loreen. “I’ve already implemented enough equipment to safeguard against the vermin who are stealing these packages.”
“So, we should get going on addressing these property thefts right now, right?” Lisa asked.
