Take advice but be careful*
Once a man was going through a dense forest with his little child. On the way the child felt thirsty and his father took him to a river to give him water. While drinking water the child suddenly fell into the water and died by drowning. The man became very sad and thought how to perform the last rites of this child in this dense forest. Hearing his cry a vulture, a jackal and a tortoise came there from the river and started sympathizing with the man. Knowing the man's problem everyone started giving their advice.
The jackal said with saliva dripping, do this - leave the body of this child on a rock in this forest itself, Mother Earth will save him. Just then the vulture, hiding his happiness, said, "No, on the earth the animals will eat him. Do this, put him on a tree, so that his final journey will be better with the heat of the sun." Hearing their conversation, the tortoise, hiding his hunger, said, "No, don't be fooled by their words, this child has lost his life in the water, so you should float him in the river itself." And after this all the three started pressuring the man as per their respective words. Then the man resorted to his conscience and said to those three, I can smell your selfishness in your sympathetic advice, the jackal wants me to leave the body of this child on the ground so that it can eat it comfortably, and the vulture, you are advising to keep the body of this child on a tree so that you can have a feast comfortably by escaping from this jackal and tortoise, and tortoise, you live inside the river, so you are arranging your feast in the river! Thank you for giving advice, but I will surrender the body of this child to the fire, not let it become your food! Hearing this, those three went away from there with their faces down!
Moral: - Friends, I am not saying that every person will give you selfish advice, but in today's competitive era, if we filter any advice through the sieve of our conscience, then it will probably be better! It is possible that you people may not agree with me completely, but somewhere this is also true in today's era, if you leave aside the selfless relationships like parents, siblings, true friends etc., who only give you the right advice, then definitely take advice from most of the people in the society and workplace, but keep your discretion intact too! Because many times the selfishness of such advisers is also hidden in their advice! Therefore - listen to everyone but believe in your discretion and conscience.
