A Letter to Tomorrow

letter tomorrow

By Rob🦜Published 2 months ago • 1 min read

Leah wrote letters to her future self every New Year’s Eve. This year, her pen hovered over the blank page for hours. She’d lost her job, her partner, and her sense of direction. What could she possibly say to a tomorrow that seemed so bleak?

Finally, she wrote:

Dear Tomorrow,

I don’t know who you are yet, but I promise to keep showing up for you. Even if today feels unbearable, I will carry this hope forward—fragile as it may be. Please take care of me.

Months later, as spring replaced winter, Leah found her own words while unpacking boxes in her new apartment. She smiled, realizing she had kept her promise.

Hey, My elder sister used to read them to me, and as I grew up, my love for stories only got stronger. I started with books, and now I enjoy reading on different writing platforms. Today, I came here just to read some stories, and that’s when I found your writing. From the very first lines, it caught my attention the more I read, the more I fell in love with your words. So I just had to appreciate you for this beautiful work. I’m really excited to hear your reply!
