The Veil of Night and the Moon's Embrace

In the stillness of night, where silence whispers loud,

Stars scattered like pearls, across a velvet shroud,

A soul wandered, lost, between shadows and light,

Trembling, uncertain, she searched through the night.

I reached for her hand, as a dream meets the dawn,

Yet our footsteps sank deep in the sands, withdrawn.

In the stretch of time, where moments cease to exist,

We walked in the shadows, where reality's mist.

"What is it you seek, in this endless void?"

I asked, but her silence was all she employed,

Her eyes were the mirrors of forgotten seas,

Reflecting the stories carried by the breeze.

"I seek the light, where darkness prevails,"

She whispered, her voice a distant tale,

And we left no trace, no sign of our stay,

As if we were shadows, fading with the day.

We paused in the silence, where time stood still,

I watched her dissolve into the night's chill.

A spirit unshaped, with no name or form,

Yet she burned with a fire that broke through the norm.

Before dawn could speak, I held her tight,

But when I opened my eyes, she vanished from sight,

As though she were but a dream that slipped away,

A wisp of the night, lost with the day.
