The Bermuda Triangle Mystery Has Been Solved
The Devil's Triangle.
The Bermuda Triangle mystery has finally been unraveled. How many spine-chilling tales of vanishing airplanes and ships in the Bermuda Triangle have you come across? We bet it's more than a few. This vast stretch of the Atlantic Ocean, lying between Florida, Puerto Rico, and Bermuda, has long been infamous for its eerie occurrences. Ships and planes have mysteriously vanished in this region, earning it the ominous nickname,
These disappearances, shrouded in myth, happened under circumstances that defy explanation. Some of these planes and ships were never seen again. Over the years, countless theories have tried to explain these mysteries—from waterspouts to aliens and even sea monsters—but they were nothing more than speculation.
The first reports date back to 1945, when five American torpedo bombers and a search plane sent after them all disappeared without a trace. Since then, another 75 aircraft and several hundred ships have been lost. The most recent tragedy struck in 2015 when the cargo ship El Faro vanished in this perilous zone.
El Faro, a U.S. vessel en route from Florida to Puerto Rico, vanished from radar on October 1, 2015, and was found wrecked at the ocean's bottom on October 31. Another significant incident occurred on June 20, 2005, when the first Piper PA aircraft disappeared in the Bermuda Triangle. Three people were on board. The second similar incident happened on April 10, 2007, when another Piper PA aircraft vanished near Berry Island. This time, only the pilot was on board, with no passengers.
Neither of these planes has ever been recovered. Smaller incidents have occurred as well. For instance, a luxury cabin cruiser named Witchcraft, owned by Burak, a prominent hotelier, set out along the Miami shore with his father to enjoy the Christmas lights in 1967. Shortly after, the coast guard received a call from Burak, reporting that his vessel had struck something and requested a tow. When the guard arrived 20 minutes later, they found nothing. The boat, along with Burak and his father, had vanished without a trace.
The Bermuda Triangle has inspired countless stories, but now, it seems that the enigma may have finally been cracked—or so a science channel show claims. A team of American scientists from the University of Colorado studied satellite weather images of this notorious region and spotted unusual hexagonal clouds. The meteorologists theorize that these clouds may function like powerful air bombs, potentially explaining the deadly blasts of air that can reach speeds of over 170 miles per hour.
These hurricane-force winds can whip up the sea into waves over 45 feet high. No ship can weather such a storm, and no aircraft can withstand such winds. Normally, clouds don’t form with straight edges, but the Bermuda Triangle seems to be an exception.
This new theory has spurred further research, as scientists from around the world scramble to understand the reasons behind these anomalies.
