The combination of amnesia, a hero with dangerous ties, and a deadly storm makes for a thrilling ride.

Remi Grant, a former army photographer haunted by a half-forgotten past, is working at an isolated storm-watching lodge on the Washington coast when she receives a mysterious puzzle piece. It may be the key to unlocking a disturbing incident she cannot remember-the incident for which former military pilot Hawk Beckett is seeking some perspective after a catastrophe in his own life. She must focus on the present, not get caught up in the past, as heavy storms are rolling in.
