Shattered Vows

When promise are broken, revenge is born

By Abimbola EwaadePublished 11 months ago 2 min read

Once upon a time, in a small village, there lived a young couple named Sophia and Alexander. They were deeply in love and had been together since childhood.

Sophia was a beautiful and kind-hearted woman, with long, curly brown hair and sparkling green eyes. Alexander, on the other hand, was a handsome and charming man, with a strong jawline and piercing blue eyes.

They got married in a grand ceremony, surrounded by their friends and family. But little did Sophia know, Alexander had a dark secret. He was having an affair with her best friend, Rachel.

Rachel was a stunning woman, with long, straight blonde hair and seductive brown eyes. She had always been jealous of Sophia's beauty and Alexander's love for her.

As time passed, Sophia began to notice changes in Alexander's behavior. He would often leave her alone, citing work or other excuses. She tried to brush it off, but her intuition told her something was wrong.

One fateful night, Sophia followed Alexander to a secluded spot, where she caught him red-handed with Rachel. Her heart shattered into a million pieces as she realized the truth.

Alexander tried to apologize and make excuses, but Sophia was beyond consolation. She felt betrayed not only by her husband but also by her best friend.

Sophia's love turned to anger and hatred. She vowed to take revenge on the two people who had hurt her the most.

Sophia started by cutting ties with Alexander and Rachel. She then began to rebuild her life, focusing on her career and self-improvement.

As she gained confidence and independence, Sophia started to plot her revenge. She began by spreading rumors about Alexander's infidelity, making sure everyone in the village knew about his betrayal.

Rachel, on the other hand, received a more personal form of revenge. Sophia made sure to sabotage Rachel's business, causing her to lose clients and reputation.

Alexander, realizing his mistakes, tried to win Sophia back. But she was unforgiving. She made sure to humiliate him publicly, exposing his infidelity to the entire village.

In the end, Sophia emerged victorious, her revenge sweet and satisfying. She had taken back control of her life and had made those who wronged her pay for their betrayal.

But as she looked back on the experience, Sophia realized that revenge had come at a cost. She had lost her innocence and her capacity for forgiveness. She vowed to never let love turn to hate again, and to always prioritize forgiveness and healing.
