I want to listen to more audiobooks this year. I had a lot downloaded, but only ever listened to a couple. It's the same with books, games and films, I have a lot but only play a handful regular. All the albums I own physically, I would say I have listened to at least once though. For me, audiobooks are a legit way to get my teeth into a story when I am too exhausted to read a book or I am on the go. I had some ACX codes that I had redeemed and thought this would be the perfect oppurtunity to use what I had.

A whirlwind office romance that's rich in description that really brings the passionate scenes to life. The relationship between Morgan and Leah is so intense. The way it's narrated is lovely too. For five hours it's one you can listen to in a day or two.

It's short, but the story really packed a punch. I think the story would have benefitted some more but I liked how both women were described as plus sized which is representation that is still rare in mainstream media. The main character is called Kirby. All I could imagine is the pink Nintendo character that swallows everything whole.

I read book two of the duology before this one. So it was interesting to know Leah and Morgan backstory and their college days. I found the line where Netflix and Oreas are waiting for her a big standout because I found it is something that could be relatable.

The love gap between the women is one that is played on a lot in this book. It gets quick with the action. Tina and Penny seem to work well together as a couple. I liked the scenary and the honest diaglogue between the girls. I have a vibe that both women are neurodivergent especially with how Tina handles her thoughts.

The cover is gorgous, which what brought me into getting the book. The story is about two sisters who live with a conservative Mexican-American household in texas. The bond between the two sisters are put to the test and they grow up to be so different. It's one that's hard to listen to, but it felt so raw and real.

I thought the way Emily Beresford narrated this was sensational. I think the title is brilliant and the use of emotion, especially in the beginning drew me in. Karen Winslow is a tragic character, and the way she yearns for her old carefree life makes you want to root for her and seek happiness.

From the seductive way the book is narrated, I could tell straight away that the book would be erotic. It's a nice story that's simple and sweet. It's another one of the books I've listened to that went straight to the point. It's a combination of many tropes I've found in sapphic fiction: women frustrated with their abusive men and married people falling for each other.

This one is sprinkled with politics and sapphic romance. The love for the colour grey and being able to fall in love with eyes instead of other body parts is refreshing. There's so much potential in this book and the way it's narrated brought Ainsley to life. "The safest relationships are the ones in my head!" - this really woke me up.

I was excited to read this because of the historical romance element. Peyton's wife inherits a house from her great-aunt and at first Peyton dosen't appreiacte it because of all the work that needs doing to it, but she eventually learns the story of Aunt Marty and how she fell in love in hard times.

I read the first book of the series and really enjoyed it. I was interested to read the next installment of Healing Hearts. It's rich in descriptions and it starts off slow, but things pace up quickly.

I knew what to expect after reading the other two books in the series. Bella's anxiety is captured greatly in the beginning, following her mother's footprints in being a nurse and falling for the doctor. The one star review on Amazon that complained about the lack of sex in the book made me giggle. Afterall, the cover of the book says medical romance drama, not medical erotica.
