Lace and Lament
Velvet Noir Society: Dark Poetry
By Latoya M.Delbridge Published 4 months ago • 1 min read

Your fingers trace where vows once lay,
Unbuttoning the break of day.
I moaned beneath your phantom grip—
A ghost inside my parted lips.
You took me slow, then took me deep,
In dreams I never meant to keep.
Now every night, your shadows come—
And I forget what I run from.
