A very nice summary of what sounds like an interesting book. I can certainly relate to the desire for a slower, simpler lifestyle and self-sufficiency. It's interesting, and somewhat sad, that the definition of "homesteading" changed in the 1970's. By the way, you might want to check your first link. A great read, Val!
