It started with the Holloway estate, rotting the town’s only remaining piece of the past. As legends go, people swore they heard quiet voices mingling through the broken windows at night. Eleanor Hayes has never believed apparition stories. Having been a writer, she succeeded in uncovering actuality. When she received the anonymous lead about the house, she thought it was her opportunity to get famous. The note was simple: “Come alone. NOON. The truth is waiting.”
